Anthropic to file IPO paperwork that could top SpaceX's $75B record
Anthropic is preparing to publicly file IPO paperwork as soon as the end of August, per Bloomberg, in a listing that could match or surpass the record $75B flotation SpaceX completed in June. Filing now beats OpenAI to the public markets — it is not expected to list before early 2027 — and opens the first detailed look at the finances behind $11.5B in quarterly revenue, 14 times higher than a year earlier against OpenAI's $6.2B.
