Anthropic Launches Claude Science, an AI Workbench for Researchers
Anthropic launched Claude Science, a public-beta research workbench built on existing Claude models, including Opus 4.8, with more than 60 pre-configured skills and connectors spanning genomics, proteomics and structural biology. It scales from a single GPU to hundreds as needed, with Modal among the supported compute backends offering up to $2,000 in credits per project. Anthropic separately offers up to $30,000 in grant credits to as many as 50 projects, with applications open through July 15.
