Cloudflare Launches Monetization Gateway

Cloudflare launched Monetization Gateway, letting customers charge for any asset Cloudflare protects — web pages, datasets, APIs and MCP tools — with metering, payment and settlement handled at the edge via stablecoins over the open x402 protocol. The product is currently in a waitlist phase; Cloudflare's announcement gives illustrative example pricing but no official Gateway fee schedule.
