General Intuition raises at $6B pre-money, up from $2.3B weeks earlier

General Intuition is closing an oversubscribed round at a $6 billion pre-money valuation — nearly triple the $2.3 billion it raised at weeks ago — with Valor Equity Partners, Point72 Ventures, and Seven Seven Six joining Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst. The repricing marks how fast capital is rotating into physical AI: the company's edge is Medal's hundreds of millions of hours of gameplay paired with action labels, and the new money buys CoreWeave compute to point that model at robotic embodiments. Valor, best known for backing SpaceX, has not funded an AI lab since.

Why this matters

  • → Physical AI funding surge: $6B valuation in weeks signals explosive capital rotation
  • → Action labels from Medal's gameplay dataset unlock embodied AI generalization
  • → Valor's first AI lab bet since SpaceX shows traditional VCs entering frontier compute race
