Intel raises $15B in common stock to fund 14A fabs and packaging
Intel is selling $15 billion of common stock through J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup, with a 30-day underwriter option for a further $2.25 billion. The dilution buys capacity: 2026 capital spending moves above $20 billion for advanced fabs, packaging and the 14A process, which means Intel is funding its foundry bet from equity markets rather than operating cash flow.
