Kioxia overtakes Toyota at ¥44 trillion, Japan's first semiconductor market-cap leader

Kioxia shares rose 7.6% on June 12, lifting the NAND flash maker's market cap to ¥44 trillion ($274 billion) — overtaking SoftBank and Toyota and marking the first time a semiconductor company has topped Japan's listed corporate rankings.
