OpenClaw 2.0 lands with 16,000 pull requests and shared cloud sessions

OpenClaw's 2.0 release landed after nearly seven weeks of silence from a project that had shipped 106 releases in 230 days, carrying roughly half of all pull requests ever merged — over 16,000 from 933 contributors, 569 of them first-timers. Setup now detects existing ChatGPT or Claude subscriptions, API keys, and local models on the machine, and the rebuilt browser app opens straight into a conversation, so configuration happens by talking to the agent instead of upfront. Shared cloud sessions make it multiplayer — a teammate can be pulled into live work or handed a task with the agent's context intact.
