Savi raises $7M to screen calls and texts for AI voice-cloning scams
Savi Security launched an iOS and Android app that screens texts, voicemails, and calls for AI-generated scams — its standout feature listens in on a live call to flag a grift in progress — on a $7M seed led by Acrew Capital. Cheap voice cloning has pushed imposter-scam losses to $3.5B in 2025, triple 2020, and Savi's bet is that enterprise-grade fraud defense now has a consumer market at $8 a month for a whole household.

Why this matters
- → AI voice cloning makes consumer scams economically viable at scale for first time.
- → Real-time call monitoring catches fraud in progress, not after damage done.
- → Imposter scam losses tripled to $3.5B in five years; defense now consumer priority.
