Taiwan indicts 9 over smuggling 74 Nvidia B300 servers to China
Taiwanese prosecutors indicted nine people — including an Nvidia manager surnamed Chang and two Super Micro employees — over routing 74 servers with export-restricted Nvidia B300 GPUs into China through Indonesia, a Japanese shell company, and Hong Kong, with 56 more servers seized and fake websites allegedly built to mask the trail. Enforcement has moved from the vendors to their own staff: insiders at the chipmaker and its server partner now face five-year sentences, making export-control exposure a personnel risk inside the supply chain rather than a customs one at its edge.
