Taiwan indicts nine, including an Nvidia Taiwan manager, over B300 server sales to China

Keelung prosecutors indicted nine people — including a senior partner manager at Nvidia's Taiwan branch and sales managers at Supermicro Taiwan — for forging end-user documents to move 130 Supermicro servers carrying Nvidia B300 GPUs, 74 of which reached China through Indonesia, Japan, and Hong Kong. The controls broke inside the vendors' own approval chain rather than at the border, and prosecutors are seeking the statutory five-year maximum for four defendants.

Prosecutors said the defendants knew Nvidia and Supermicro controlled the servers' destinations, end users, and intended uses.

  • → Supply-chain controls broke inside vendor approval systems, not at borders.
  • → 74 advanced AI servers reached China despite export restrictions.
