Advantest lifts FY2026 outlook to 1,714.0 billion yen on AI tester demand

Advantest raised its fiscal 2026 forecast to 1,714.0 billion yen in revenue and 846.0 billion yen in operating income — 294.0 billion and 218.5 billion above its April call — for a 49.4% operating margin, after Q1 revenue rose 39.3% and operating income 53.3% year over year. The company also marked the calendar-2026 tester market up roughly 19% to $13.0-14.5 billion, evidence that AI chip volumes and device complexity are pulling test equipment, not only foundry capacity, into the bottleneck.
