Agility Robotics to go public via SPAC at $2.5B, a humanoid-sector first
Agility Robotics is merging with Michael Klein's Churchill Capital Corp XI to go public at roughly $2.5 billion with $620M-plus in proceeds — the largest capital raise in humanoid robotics history and the first pure-play humanoid maker to trade publicly. That hands retail investors direct exposure to a sector so far walled off to VC funds and pries open the finances of a secretive field, with CEO Peggy Johnson citing $300M-plus in booked robots-as-a-service revenue while placing home robots "10-plus years" out.
