Azure passes $100B in annual revenue as Microsoft's quarterly capex hits $41B
Microsoft posted $90.01 billion in fiscal Q4 revenue and $4.74 adjusted EPS against consensus of $87.61 billion and $4.24, with Azure growth accelerating to 43% and the cloud business clearing $100 billion in annual revenue for the first time. Capital spending including finance leases reached $41 billion, up 70% year over year, and the calendar-2026 outlook moving to roughly $175 billion from $190 billion is an accounting change to data center useful life, not a cut. Azure at that size trails only AWS, and Satya Nadella's count of 31 new data centers across five continents in the quarter — 88 for the year — sets the capital bar rivals have to match to stay in the same tier.
