Encore AI raises $30M Series A to train voice agents on a company's own sales calls

Encore AI, founded in 2022 as Insait IO, raised a $30M Series A led by Team8 for what CEO Dvir Ginzburg calls interaction mining — pulling call recordings, emails, and CRM data to find which employee behaviors closed deals, then packaging those playbooks into autonomous agents or a real-time assistant that coaches reps mid-call. With 40-plus enterprise customers, mostly financial institutions, and ARR up more than 5x since a seed round under 18 months ago, the traction is real; the open question is whether Salesforce, SAP, and HubSpot can copy it, and Ginzburg's counter is that they would have to rebuild their implementation stacks around conversational history they currently ignore.

The biggest players that we are competing against, they don't see conversational history as a data point that they are utilizing. For them to start asking for conversational data with their current employees will require changing their entire implementation stack and technologica

Why this matters

  • → AI agents trained on actual winning sales calls beat generic LLMs at closing deals.
  • → Incumbents face architectural lock-in: their stacks treat conversation history as waste, not fuel.
  • → 5x ARR growth in 18 months validates interaction mining as a defensible moat before category consolidates.
