Vertiv Opens Johor Plant to Meet AI Demand in Asia
Vertiv opened its first Southeast Asia manufacturing plant, a 236,000-square-foot facility in Senai, Johor, Malaysia, to build liquid-cooling (coolant distribution units), power-module/power-skid, and prefabricated overhead systems (busway, liquid cooling piping, networking, containment) for AI data centers across Southeast Asia, North Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The plant will be fully operational in 2027 and is expected to create up to 500 skilled jobs.
