Waymo drops the Dallas waitlist after 150,000 riders
Waymo has removed the waitlist for its Dallas robotaxi service, letting any resident or visitor hail a ride through the app after about 150,000 riders used it since February 2026. It is the same staged rollout Waymo ran in Phoenix, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, with Avis Budget Group handling depot charging and maintenance for the all-electric Jaguar I-Pace fleet — the scaling constraint now sits in fleet operations, not the driving software. Dallas Love Field remains excluded, and service can still pause for severe weather after May's rain and flooding disruptions.
